I don't have resistance bands, can I use something else?

Good question. This will depend a bit on what else you have access to. If you have dumbbells you can use those (bent over rows, triceps kickbacks, bicep curls, for example... you can also use gallon water jugs for these same exercises). If you have access to suspension gear you can use rows and extensions using the gear. Otherwise, mountain bike inner tubes make a fine (and cheap) alternative to bands.
