Will practicing yoga make me sore?

It is common to feel some soreness the day after practicing yoga.  Like any activity or movement that is new, your muscles will need some time to adjust to various postures and you may experience delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) within 24 hours of engaging in yoga.  This is different then acute pain which could be a sign of a pulled muscle or other injury.
